Papa John's opens first Israeli pizza outlet

The world's third largest pizza chain has opened a store in Tel Aviv.

Papa John’s Pizza has opened its first outlet in Israel. The world's third largest pizza delivery company has inaugurated a store in Tel Aviv.

Israel's Papa John's franchisee PJI Pizza Ltd. owner Assaf Greenberg said, “We are very excited about bringing Papa John’s to Israel. There is a strong demand in Israel for Papa John’s high-quality pizzas, fast and friendly service, all with great value to consumers. Our hand-tossed fresh dough, fresh-packed tomatoes and 100% real cheese made from high quality mozzarella make a truly better pizza.”

Greenberg plans opening ten Papa John’s restaurants in Israel over the next few years.

Papa John’s International Inc. SVP & Chief Development Officer Tim O'Hern said, “The Papa John’s brand continues to grow and we are pleased to extend our growth with Assaf as he opens his first restaurant in Tel Aviv. We are looking forward to introducing everyone in Israel to our quality ingredients and our better pizza.”

Papa John’s opened its first international store 18 years ago, and now has over 4800 restaurants in over 40 countries. Papa John’s will be opening soon in Spain, and Papa John’s International continues to look for potential franchisees around the globe.
