Gazit-Globe to build €100m Macedonia project

The company will build a mall, hotel, and office complex in Skopje.

Gazit-Globe Ltd. (TASE: GLOB) subsidiary Gazit Israel (Development) Ltd. has bought a 10.5-acre lot in the Macedonian capital of Skopje for €19 million. The company financed the purchase from its own sources.

The company plans to build a 60,000-square meter mall and office and hotel high-rises with 90,000 square meters of space altogether on the site at an investment of €100 million.

Gazit-Globe owns 75% of Gazit Israel.
