Computronic unveils a legal lexicon for Windows - a bilingual, English/Hebrew - Hebrew/English dictionary, including legal words and expressions, that is interactive and comes with a word processor. The price of the lexicon is $ 149. Also unveiled is a "super dictionary", bilingual English/Hebrew - Hebrew/English dictionary, compatible with Word 7.
Non copyright pictures catalogue
CD BANK has set up an internet site (www.cdbank.co.il) which enables downloading of catalogues of pictures without copyrights, in digital format. CD BANK sells digital pictures on CD’s. This method replaces the old transparencies, and enables direct use of the pictures for graphics, without the need to scan. CD BANK general manager Noam Eshkol estimates that the site will save advertising agencies and publishers considerable expense, since it will be unnecessary for them to purchase printed catalogues.
Bynet Distribution to handle TRIPP LITE UPS
US company TRIPP LITE has appointed Bynet Distribution as exclusive distributor for all its products for protection against power supply problems. Bynet will represent TRIPP LITE mainly for UPS systems for domestic computers, televisions, computer workstations and servers on company communications networks.
