The former governor of the Bank of Israel will chair Meitav's advisory board.
Investment house Meitav Investment and Securities Advisers Ltd. announced today that former governor of the Bank of Israel David Klein, who left the post in January, is joining it as chairman of its advisory board.
Klein said of the appointment," Meitav has proved itself as a winning team capable of coping with the many changes that the financial markets have undergone in the past 26 years. "
Meitav CEO Tzvi Stepak said Klein would contribute from his vast experience to Meitav in the development of new financial products and in formulating ideas for entering new markets in Israel and overseas.
Meitav has some NIS 7 billion under management, and is considered the leading independent entity in mutual funds and portfolio management. It has recently entered a new filed: provident funds.
