The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange rose today. The Tel Aviv 25 Index rose 0.47%, to 1,412.95 points, and the Tel Aviv 100 Index rose 0.29%, to 1,223.45 points. The BlueTech Index fell 0.11%, to 323.84 points. The TelBond 20 corporate bond index rose 0.10%, to 318.45 points. Turnover totaled NIS 1.02 billion.
Over the past two weeks, the Tel Aviv 25 Index has fallen 5.7%. The index is down 7.7% so far this year.
On the foreign exchange market, the representative shekel-dollar rate was set 0.11% higher, at NIS 3.7810/$, and the representative shekel-euro rate was set 0.34% lower, at NIS 4.3213/€.
Teva led trading today, and rose 0.05%. Bezeq fell 0.63%. The big two banks both rose: Hapoalim by 0.79% and Leumi by 0.89%. Nice Systems, which reported strong first quarter results today, rose 2.86%. Ormat, which also reported good results, rose 2.69%. Other notable advancers today were Kenon, up 5.37%, after rising by more than 10% yesterday, Ratio, up 3.02%, and Sodastream, up 2.89%. Ability fell 10.24%, and Opko Health fell 4.83%.
