Israel is an outstanding example of central planning. The planning process goes through four stages until approval, with the result that planning goods reach market after 10-15 years

Israel needs structural reform in planning, which will include strategic planning at the national level alongside local planning for specific projects to meet the urgent and immediate needs at the regional, municipal, and neighborhood level
