Following a ruling by arbitrator Judge Emeritus Theodore Or, US hotelier Henry Moskowitz will buy out his partners in Jerusalem’s Windmill Hotel, the Cohen family. The thoroughly renovated 130-room three-star hotel will be reopened in a few months.
The Cohen family established the Windmill Hotel in the 1980s. Moskowitz bought half the hotel, and later expanding his stake. A subsequent dispute between the partners ended up in the Supreme Court.
Moskowitz owns a number of hotels in Israel: the Prima Palace, Prima Kings, and Palatin Jerusalem Center in Jerusalem; the Carlton, Astor, and Metropolitan in Tel Aviv; Galei Zohar at the Dead Sea; and hotels in Tiberias.
