Maimon Spices spends NIS 500,000 on marketing concept

Spice manufacturer Maimon Spices is initiating a new marketing concept open market style areas in retail chains. The concept will be applied first at the Tiv Taam outlet in Rishon LeZion. Maimon Spices’ area in the store covers 100 sq.m., with 100 different spices, and spice mixtures in bulk, and a kitchen for sample tasting.

Over the coming months, Maimon Spices will set up marketing areas in two more Tiv Taam stores in Ashdod and Beersheva, at a total cost of NIS 500,000.

Maimon Spices general manager Avraham Maimon said it expects its new marketing concept at Tiv Taam to increase its activity by 25% over the next year.

Maimon Spices, owned by the Beersheva-based Maimon family, began six years ago with a small spice store in the Beersheva municipal market. The company founded its plant for producing and marketing spices in 1989. Maimon Spices currently has 80 employees in Beersheva, and its annual sales turnover stands at NIS 19 million.
