Shekel at 32-month low against dollar

The shekel-dollar representative rate rose 0.47% today to NIS 4.688/$ today.

The shekel-dollar exchange rate has risen above NIS 4.68/$ for the first time in 32 months. The shekel-dollar representative rate rose 0.47% today to NIS 4.688/$ today, the highest level since March 2003.

The shekel has depreciated 2.1% against the dollar within a month, and by 4.8% within three months.

The euro-dollar representative rate fell 0.64% today to NIS 5.5391/€, to complete a 1.5% drop since Friday.
