Monta Klebebandwerk will distribute Davik’s industrial adhesive tape in Germany and Austria.
Davik Self-Adhesive Tapes, owned by Kibbutz Sde Boker, has signed a three-year, NIS 10 million trade and cooperation agreement in Cyprus with Monta Klebebandwerk Gmbh of Germany. Under the agreement, Monta Klebebandwerk will distribute Davik’s industrial adhesive tape in Germany and Austria, while Davik will be the exclusive distributor of Monta Klebebandwerk’s tape in Israel.
Davik director of marketing Shlomo Manor says that Monta Klebebandwerk is one of the world’s largest adhesive tape manufacturers, with unique technology that complements Davik’s technology. The cooperation agreement between the two companies includes an exchange of information and development of products. “Distributing Monta Klebebandwerk’s products enables Davik to undertake new products in the adhesive tape sector,” Manor says.
40% of Davik’s business is in the domestic market, and 60% consists of exports.
