The Marpe Hotel can serve as either a health resort or a luxury nursing residential center.
A group of investors has bought the Hotel Marpe, located in the Jerusalem hills, from the receiver for $5 million. The investors are in the process of founding a joint company for the purpose.
Located adjacent to Kibbutz Zova, the Hotel Marpe is in the middle of a forest 790 meters above sea level. The hotel is in the advanced construction stages; work on the interior has now begun. The hotel is classified as health resort in the style of the Carmel Forest Spa Resort (Ya’arot Hacarmel). It can also serve as a luxury nursing residential center, due to its location near the Hadassah Medical Center.
Hotel Marpe has 97 rooms, 6,250 sq.m., and three storeys on a 24-dunam (six-acre) lot. 10,000 more sq.m. can be built under its approved building permit.
