Delek, Paz, Sonol and Dor-Alon will supply diesel, light crude and kerosene. Moseroth will supply $4.7 million worth of aluminum wire.
Israel Electric Corporation (IEC) will buy $490 million worth of diesel, light crude and kerosene during 2006.
IEC’s supreme tenders committee decided yesterday to buy $466 million worth of diesel from Paz Oil Co. for 14 turbines, including those at Eshkol, Timna, and Eilat at a cost of $7.5 million. IEC also decided to buy $1.5 million worth of diesel from Delek Group Ltd. (TASE: DLEKG) for its turbine at Atarot, and $2.3 million worth of diesel from Sonol Israel Ltd. for the turbines at Reading and Kinarot.
IEC will buy $7.5 million worth of light crude from Delek for its power stations, and $1.5 million worth of kerosene from Dor Alon Energy in Israel (1988) Ltd. (TASE:DRAL).
The IEC supreme tenders committee, headed by director Dan Elman, decided that Moseroth Ltd. would supply $4.7 million worth of aluminum wire for grounding high tension power lines in cities.
