Customers included Hotel Sheraton Plaza Jerusalem, Hilton Eilat, Meridian Hotel Eilat, Meridian Hotel Dead Sea, Isrotel King Solomon Eilat, Prima Kings Hotel and Grand Court Hotel.
Classigan Ltd., owned by Itzhaki Zekzer and Senior Shwartz, delivered NIS 45 million worth of furniture and garden equipment to Israeli hotels in 2005. The furniture was for public spaces, lobbies, dining rooms and hotel rooms. Deliveries were made to the Hotel Sheraton Plaza Jerusalem, Hilton Eilat, Meridian Hotel Eilat, Meridian Hotel Dead Sea, Isrotel King Solomon Eilat, and the Prima Kings Hotel and Grand Court Hotel in Jerusalem, among others.
Zekzer said, “The recovery of Israel’s tourism market and the fact that Israel’s hotels were not renovated in recent years has created a great need for renovations, especially replacing furniture. We supplied furniture to over 100 restaurants, cafes and pubs last year.”
Founded in 1998, Classigan manufactures garden furniture at its factory in Beersheva, and imports furniture peripherals. Classigan’s sister company Equip Preparation & Supply Ltd. provides procurement services for hotels and the accommodations industry.
