Journalist Yoav Yitzhak claims the facts were known to politicians and the media but they chose to keep silent.
Hebrew language newsite News First Class (NFC), owned by journalist Yoav Yitzhak, published an investigative report today accusing Acting Prime Minister Ehud Olmert of fraud.
NFC alleges, “In March 2000, Olmert made a false adjudication, allowed NIS 5.2 million to be fraudulently and deceitfully withdrawn from the Beitar Jerusalem Football Club, and abetted serious crimes, including embezzlement of creditors’ money. The creditors included the Income Tax Authority, players, and banks, among them Bank Leumi (TASE:LUMI).”
Yitzhak claims the facts were known to politicians and the media, but that they chose to keep silent, and avoid any entanglement with Olmert.
