This is Amdocs’s first project for a VimpleCom subsidiary outside Russia.

Amdocs (NYSE: DOX) announced today that it successfully deployed its CRM system and several other systems at the Kazakhstan based cellular operator KaR-Tel, a subsidiary of the Russian cellular communications company VimpleCom (NYSE: VIP). The systems deployed by Amdocs at KaR-Tel include an automated inventory and resource management system as sales enhancement systems and billing services.

Amdocs CRM currently supports more than 150 KaR-Tel agents handling more than 10,000 customer calls per day. In their joint announcement, the two companies said that KaR-Tel plans to further expand the deployment to support its regional contact centers as well.

The CRM system that Amdocs has installed at KaR-Tel is designed to support the latter’s Beeline brand.
