Lehavim is a joint project of the Bnei Shimon Regional Council, the Lehavim Local Authority and the Bedouin town of Rahat.
The Southern Region Planning and Building Commission has approved the NIS 200 million Lehavim industrial zone. Located at the junction of Road No. 31 and Road 40 north of Beersheva, Lehavim is a joint project of the Bnei Shimon Regional Council, the Lehavim Local Authority and the Bedouin town of Rahat.
The Lehavim industrial zone is a national priority A project, and will include space for industry, public buildings and warehouses. A hospital will be built later. The industrial zone is part of the government’s strategic plan for developing the Negev.
