Solel Solar Systems Ltd. of Beit Shemesh, a manufacturer of advanced solar heaters and clean energy power stations, is expanding. The company is hiring 200 new employees, including mechanical and industrial engineers, administrators, control and device engineers, and production staff.
Solel Solar currently has 160 employees, after hiring 70 people since January, and expects to have 360 employees by year-end. The company is expanding development and production after winning contracts to supply thousands of thermal solar units for producing clean electricity for over 500,000 homes in the US and Spain.
In June, Solel Solar announced that it won a contract to upgrade seven solar power stations in California. The company also reported that, since the beginning of the year, it had signed contracts worth over $80 million to deliver thermal solar units for power stations in the US and Spain.
