Shekel-dollar rate back to level before fighting

The shekel appreciated against the dollar today. The shekel-dollar exchange rate fell 0.316% today to NIS 4.423/$. The shekel-euro exchange rate rose 0.865% to NIS 5.6351/�.

The shekel-dollar exchange rate is now at the same rate as in early July. This morning, the exchange rate fell below its level before Hizbullah kidnapped two IDF troops on patrol in northern Israel, the incident that ignited the conflict in the north.

Yesterday, the shekel depreciated 0.203% against the dollar, and the shekel-dollar representative exchange rate was set at NIS 4.437. The shekel appreciated against 0.264% against the euro and the shekel-euro representative exchange rate was set at NIS 5.5868/�.
