FutureIT will sell 140 SQLManage systems to Equatel in a $2.8 million deal.
Israeli server management start-up FutureIT Ltd. has signed a three-year $2.8 million strategic agreement with UK wireless solutions provider Equatel. FutureIT will supply Equatel with database management systems.
FutureIT is a subsidiary of Datasafe Systems Ltd., run by CEO Omer Nirhod. FutureIT’s flagship server management product is the SQLManage, which boosts the performance of Microsoft SQL servers, and advanced server management options. FutureIT will sell 140 SQLManage systems to Equatel, which will install them on its EMS messaging server for wireless operators worldwide. Equatel said, “We selected the solution offered by FutureIT after thorough market surveys.”
FutureIT is based in Lod; its CEO is Nimrod Zahavi.
