Shmuel Flatto-Sharon plans to build the 5,000-sq.m. mall in the Druze town.
Los Angeles diamond merchant Shaul Houri has bought half of the 5,000-sq.m. Daliat el-Carmel Mall that Shmuel Flatto-Sharon plans to build in the Druze town for $6 million. Construction is due to begin in April 2007.
The second stage of the project is a 7,000-sq.m. office block adjacent to the mall.The developers plan to sell the office to municipality, a health fund, and local attorneys and accountants. Daliat el-Carmel has 14,000 residents and attracts tens of thousands of Israeli and foreign tourists.
