Trump: Israel is one of my favorite countries

Donald Trump Jr and Ivanka Trump: We see investment potential in Israel; it has a lot to offer.

US property developer Donald Trump told the “Globes” Israel business conference last night that Israel was one of his favorite countries. “I know that you’ve been through a lot recently, we’ve been following it from the US,” he said in a video conference interview together with his son and daughter from New York. “I believe Israel is a great country. You’re doing it right,” he added.

Asked by the conference’s moderator, Oded Ben Ami, what advice he could give on overcoming a crisis, Trump replied, “I had a financial collapse back in 1990, and it was a tough time for me. It can happen to countries too What did I do? I went back to work. You have to stay focused, and eventually things work out.”

Commenting on developments in Israel, Trump said, “You need leadership, and people don’t have to like their leaders. We know in the US that Israel’s economy is strong. I know businesspeople, non-Jewish too, who are investing in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, and they ask me for recommendations in Israel. I maintain my business integrity and I tell them that Israel is a good place to invest in.”

Donald Trump Jr and Ivanka Trump added, “We see investment potential in Israel; it has a lot to offer.”
