The fourth quarter net profit rose 95.7% to NIS 163 million and the profit for the year was NIS 682.3 million.
Partner Communications Ltd. (Nasdaq: PTNR; TASE: PTNR; LSE:PCCD) today published its financial report for the fourth quarter of 2006 and for the year as a whole. The company posted a profit of NIS 682.3 million, or NIS 4.41 per share, on NIS 5.61 billion revenue in 2006.
The cellular operator posted NIS 1.45 billion revenue for the fourth quarter, the same as for the preceding quarter, and 14.8% more than for the corresponding quarter of 2005.
Partner’s earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) rose 26.6% from the corresponding quarter to NIS 461 million, and the gross profit margin rose to 27.1% from 16.1%. Net profit rose 95.7% to NIS 163 million from NIS 83.3 million for the corresponding quarter.
