Hogla-Kimberley surpasses NIS 1b sales

Nielsen Reports: Ten manufacturers account for 72% of sales in the non-food market.

Sources inform ''Globes'' that Hogla-Kimberly Ltd. exceeded NIS 1 billion in sales in 2006 for the first time in a decade. The company is owned by Kimberly-Clark Corp. (NYSE:KMB) with a 50.1% stake and American Israeli Paper Mills Ltd. (AMEX: AIP; TASE: AIP) with 49.9%.

Hogla-Kimberly posted higher sales in all product categories last year. The company had NIS 980 million in sales in 2005.

Nielsen Reports says that the company has a 20% share of the Israeli non-food market, followed by Sano-Bruno Enterprises (TASE: SANO1;SANO5) with 13%, and Procter & Gamble Co. (NYSE:PG), with 11%. Ten manufacturers account for 72% of sales in this market.
