IT International Theaters to build Haifa multiplex

The Lev Hamifratz Mall in Haifa is undergoing a NIS 200 million renovation.

IT International Theaters Ltd. will build a NIS 200 million 23-screen multiplex in the new Lev Hamifratz Mall in Haifa, to be called “Planet Lev Hamifratz”. The multiplex will operate seven days a week until late at night. The company said that the multiplex’s location has access to two million potential customers.

IT International Theaters already owns “Planet Yes” multiplex at the Ayalon Mall in Ramat Gan.

The owners of the Lev Hamifratz Mall - Super-Sol Ltd. (TASE:SAE;Pink Sheets:SSLTF.PK), Uri Dori Engineering Works Corp. (TASE: DORI) and Ampal-American Israel Corporation (Nasdaq: AMPL; TASE:AMPL) - are investing NIS 200 million in refurbishing the 16-year old mall. The new mall will include a 10,000-sq.m.fashion center with concept stores of leading international brands. The second floor will contain restaurants, pubs and bars and special recreational sites for children and teenagers.
