BDI: Prisma is Israel’s largest investment house

Prisma Capital Markets manages NIS 37 billion in assets.

Business Data Israel (BDI) ranks Prisma Capital Markets Ltd. as Israel’s largest investment house, managing NIS 37 billion in assets, including provident funds. This is the first time that BDI has included Prisma, controlled by Markstone Capital Partners Group LLC, in its rankings.

Harel Investment House Ltd. rose from ninth place last year to second place, managing NIS 33.9 billion.

Clal Finance Batucha Ltd. (TASE:CLFN) is in third place with NIS 30.9 billion in assets managed; followed by Psagot Ofek Investment House Ltd. with NIS 26.7 billion; Excellence Investments Ltd. (TASE: EXCE) with NIS 22.7 billion; DS Apex Holdings Ltd. (TASE:DSAP) with NIS 17.4 billion; Meitav Investment Management Ltd. with NIS 16.8 billion; Migdal Capital Markets Ltd with NIS 14.1 billion; IBI Investment House Ltd. (TASE:IBI) with NIS 9.7 billion; and Analyst IMS Investment Management Services Ltd. (TASE:ANLT) with NIS 8.1 billion.

In a separate list, BDI ranked investment houses according to assets managed, excluding provident funds. Clal Finance Batucha tops this list, with NIS 31 billion, followed by Psagot Ofek with NIS 26 billion; Prisma with NIS 20 billion; Excellence, Harel, Meitav, Migdal Capital Markets, and IBI.

BDI says that Israel’s top 20 investment houses manage an aggregate NIS 263 billion in assets. The top three - Prisma, Harel Investment House, and Clal Finance Batucha - manage 40% of this total. Interestingly, 41% of the company’s assets managed are held by mutual funds.
