The supply to Gaza's power station had continued unabated; now gas stations will receive supplies as well.
Dor Alon Energy in Israel (1988) Ltd. (TASE:DRAL) has renewed the supply of gas to the Gaza strip after a break of a few days. The company halted supplies of fuels last week following the breakdown of ties with the Palestinian Authority after Hamas seized control of the strip.
Dor Alon has maintained uninterrupted supplies of diesel to the Gaza Strip power station, backed by guarantees from the European Union. The company currently supplies NIS 750 million worth of fuel a year to Gaza. It is reportedly suffering a loss of revenue of NIS 1.5 million for every day of halted supplies to the authority, although in its notification to the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) Dor Alon said that the loss of sales only had a marginal impact on profits. The company added that it was working in full cooperation with the security authorities.
