ComSign’s digital signature application will be integrated with EMC’s Centera’s data storage system.
IT security company Comda Ltd. has completed the integration of its digital signature application, Comsign Trust, with EMC Corp.’s (NYSE:EMC) Centera product. Comda subsidiary ComSign Ltd. will integrate its electronic signature system into Centera’s data storage system. The deal is estimated to add $2 million to Comda’s revenue over the next two years.
The combined solution will add a digital signature function to enterprise documents. The digital signature complies with tax authorities’ security regulations.
EMC’s collaboration with Comda was a development of EMC’s acquisition of RSA Security, for which Comda was the Israeli distributor.
Comda CEO Zeev Shetah said, “The cost of the signature and storage system, and retrieval of signed documents is $50,000 for the minimal configuration. We expect to sell dozens of these systems in Israel and internationally over the coming year.”
