The South African distributor will supply the company’s VoIP solutions in Africa.
Telrad Connegy Ltd. has signed a distribution agreement with South African telecommunications company Hymax Ltd. Hymax has undertaken to buy $10 million of Telrad Connegy’s VoIP solutions over the next three years.
Hymax provides telecommunications solutions and services to the corporate and small and medium-sized enterprise markets in Africa. The company will market Telrad Connegy markets under the Hymax label. Telrad Connegy says that Hymax will stop marketing competing products made by Siemens AG (NYSE:SI; XETRA:SIE) and Alcatel-Lucent (NYSE:ALU).
Telrad Connegy CEO Avi Weinreb says, “This distribution agreement, which guarantees substantial revenue, is part of Telrad Connegy’s business strategy to create an organized distribution network, thereby expanding its business activity and technology presence worldwide.”
