Dor Chemicals and EAPC to build chemical farm

The companies will establish a joint venture import, store, and sell chemicals.

Dor Chemicals Ltd. (TASE: DORC), controlled by the Dankner family, has signed an agreement with Eilat-Ashkelon Pipeline Co. (EAPC) subsidiary Eilat Ashkelon Infrastructure Services Ltd. to jointly build and operate a chemical farm on land owned by EAPC in Ashkelon.

The joint venture will import, store, and sell chemicals. The companies will set up a joint venture for this purpose, at an estimated initial investment of $4.2 million, and will share profits equally.

EAPC is jointly owned by the Israeli and Iranian governments. Its main asset is land and a fuel terminal in Ashkelon.
