Comverse to supply UK VoIP firm Inclarity

Inclarity CEO Adrian Hughes: Comverse enables us to offer real FMC for the first time.

Comverse Technology Inc. (Pink Sheets: CMVT.PK) will supply its IPCentrex and IP Trunking Solutions to UK hosted VoIP solutions provider Inclarity Ltd., to provide fixed-mobile convergence services to its enterprise customers.

The Comverse IP Trunking solution embeds an integrated session border controller that enables service providers to provide a secure fixed telephony service for calls to and from the enterprise PBXs that bypass the PSTN. Service providers can also offer a cost-effective enterprise VPN solution for handling the telephony traffic between the enterprise sites.

Comverse president of EMEA and corporate chief marketing officer Benny Einhorn said, "We are pleased to be a part of Inclarity's plans for expansion into the hosted telephony market for the enterprise segment. In today's converging telecommunications landscape, the roles of service providers are becoming blurred and Comverse solutions for Converged IP Communications, Converged Billing and Value-added Services, support operators' initiatives to strengthen market position."

Inclarity CEO Adrian Hughes added, "Inclarity's vision is to enable companies of all sizes to communicate more effectively and efficiently. Comverse is our strategic partner and we have been working with them for over five years to extend our footprint in the managed VoIP market. Comverse Converged IPCentrex enables us to sharpen our differentiation and offer real FMC for the first time, enabling our customers to be more flexible in their communications and significantly cut costs."

Last week, Comverse CEO Andre Dahan told “Globes” that he had no plans to sell any subsidiaries, belying rumors to the contrary.
