Strauss Group is investing NIS 6 million in an ad campaign for three new flavors of the chocolate bar.
Strauss Group Ltd. (TASE:STEL) is considering reducing the number of its brands. However, figures presented today about its Pesek Zman brand of chocolate bars leave no room for doubt as to whether that one will survive. Pesek Zman sales have increased 40% since January to more than NIS 100 million.
Strauss has launched three new Pesek Zman flavors in recent months, and will launch three more in the coming days: pistachio, bitter espresso, and caramel vanilla. The launch will be accompanied by a NIS 6 million ad campaign created by the Shalmor Avnon Avihai agency. The campaign is also for the Para (“Cow”) brand.
Strauss’ chocolate sales totaled NIS 440 million in January-September 2007, compared with NIS 397 million during the corresponding period in 2006.
