Customized online advertising services provider Netex (Net Express) Ltd. (TASE:NTX) has signed a three-year cooperation agreement with Google Inc. (Nasdaq:GOOG) affiliate Google Ireland Ltd. Netex users will receive combined search results from both Netex search engines and content search results originated from Google.
Netex systems will have text ads inserted, which originate with Google. The two companies will share in revenue generated from this source.
The company has been collaborating with Google Ireland since November 2005.
In July, Netex signed a long-term contract with Golden Telecom Inc. (Nasdaq: GLDN) - EDN Sovintel, which will receive a franchise to operate the company’s services in Russia, Ukraine, and Kazakhstan. The company estimates its revenue from the contract at NIS 3.2 million over the next 12 months.
Netex rose 15% in morning trading on the TASE.
