Mobile Internet co InfoGin in Slovenia deal

Si.mobil Vodafone is a subsidiary of Mobilkom Austria.

Israeli web-to-mobile content adaptation solutions start-up InfoGin Ltd. has deployed its Intelligent Mobile Platform with Slovenian operator Si.mobil Vodafone. The platform has enabled the operator to revamp its mobile internet browser on the Vodafone live! Portal, branded as Si.web.

InfoGin did not disclose the size of the deal.

Si.mobil Vodafone is a wholly owned subsidiary of Mobilkom Austria, which was the first operator to use InfoGin’s product last month. Si.mobil Vodafone is Slovenia’s second-largest mobile operator.

InfoGin VP business affairs Itzik Frid said, "With the newly launched Si.web mobile internet browsing service, Si.mobil Vodafone’s customers can enjoy clear and easy browsing of any Web site they desire.”

InfoGin chairman and CEO Eran Wyler founded the company in 2000. In 2006, the company won Frost & Sullivan’s Customer Value Enhancement Award for its innovative technological breakthrough in the European market. Investors include Argoquest Holdings LLC, Partner Future Communication 2000 Ltd., and private investors. According to IVC Online, the company has raised $11 million to date.
