The deal gives Alljobs international exposure.
Russian online jobseeker company Headhunter will acquire 20% of Israeli jobseeker site Alljobs Ltd. at a company value of NIS 50 million in cash. The deal gives Alljobs international exposure.
Alljobs CEO Revital Hendler and chairman Herzl Ozer founded the company in 2004. The company claims that 30,000 persons have found jobs through its site, and that the site has almost 35,000 help-wanted ads collated from 2,000 sources. The company also claims that 500,000 persons have visited its site.
Alljobs’ reprinting for free of help-wanted ads taken from newspapers caused “Ma’ariv” and “Yediot Ahronot” to sue the company in early 2005. The lawsuit was dismissed and Ma'ariv Holdings Ltd. (TASE: MARV) chairman Ofer Nimrodi made a bid to buy the company.
Alljobs is profitable and is expected to post NIS 10 million revenue in 2007. The company has 50 employees and has invested NIS 3 million in its website to date.
