Safend IT security solutions will be incorporated in two new Utimaco Safeware products
Israeli software security developer Safend has reached a partnership agreement with German data protection developer Utimaco Safeware AG (XETRA:USA). Utimaco is adding Safend's endpoint security and monitoring technologies to its product portfolio, resulting in two new products - SafeGuard PortAuditor and SafeGuard PortProtector.
SafeGuard PortProtector restricts access to removable media, USB, and wireless devices and provides offline tracking capabilities for USB storage. It is fully integrated with Microsoft Active Directory and Novell eDirectory.
Safend VP business development and marketing Susan Callahan said, “Combining Safend’s features with Utimaco’s solutions fills a significant gap in today’s data security marketplace. Our partnership with Utimaco arms customers with a solution that secures their critical data at the endpoint while also preventing data leakage via all unauthorized external devices.”
