Amdocs Ltd. (NYSE: DOX) has set up a new a new business unit to deliver advertising, commerce and entertainment products and services to respond to the growing demand for content. The company has also unveiled the Amdocs CES (customer experience systems) Blueprint, an outline of the operating environment communications service providers need to establish in order to transform from providers of utility voice, data and video services into purveyors of the digital lifestyle-delivering a seamless customer experience-personalized, participatory and timely across any service, location and device.
Amdocs expects to launch its first CES Blueprint products during 2008. Amdocs executive VP Guy DuBois said, "We are now sharing our industry-specific insight, knowledge and vision to help all service providers move beyond the traditional operations support systems (OSS) and business support systems (BSS) technology-centric approach and confidently transform with our customer experience systems approach."
