Kyivstar has deployed the Amdocs OSS suite.
Amdocs Ltd. (NYSE: DOX) has deployed its Amdocs OSS (operations support systems) with Ukraine cellular operator Kyivstar. Amdocs did not disclose the size of the deal, but market sources estimate at a few millions dollars. Amdocs worked with integrator S&T Soft-Tronik Ukraine on the project.
Kyivstar has more than 23 million subscribers and more than doubled in size since 2005.
Amdocs VP corporate communications Charles Born said, "The complexity associated with delivering new services is growing rapidly, as is Kyivstar's subscriber base. Only mature, integrated and well-proven inventory-centric solutions like Amdocs OSS can help meet this demand."
Amdocs fell 1.8% in early trading today. The company has a market cap of $7 billion.
