Udi Ziv, a co-founder of Israeli start-up Top Tier, is joining Giza Venture Capital as an executive venture partner and a member of the company's software team. SAP AG (NYSE; XETRA: SAP) acquired Top Tier in 2001.
Ziv's previous position was general manager of SAP's Small Business Solutions, where he was reponsible for 500 employees in seven locations worldwide for the Product and Technology Unit. He was also responsible for all operations of The Lab, SAP’s fourth largest R&D site in the world, and one of the largest R&D centers in Israel.
Ziv has three US patents and has filed for seven more.
Giza managing partner Ori Kirshner said, "Giza's software team led successful investments in Emblaze, Precise Software, Cyota, and other companies. We aim to continue building large, strong companies in the enterprise solutions sector. Udi Ziv's joining the team strengthens our ability to led this endeavor."
