Eurocom Cellular Communications CEO Ilan Grinboim: Handset sales will exceed one million units.
Eurocom Cellular Communications Ltd. sold more than 900,000 Nokia handsets in 2007, and company sales passed the NIS 1 billion threshold for the first time. Eurocom Cellular, a subsidiary Eurocom Group is Nokia's representative in Israel.
Eurocom Cellular Communications CEO Ilan Grinboim predicts that Nokia will increase its market share in Israel when Pele-Phone Communications Ltd. launches its new 3G and 3.5G cellular network, which will used Nokia handsets, among others. "We expect an increase in the company's sales to more than one million handsets. These sales will further consolidate Nokia's leadership in the Israeli market and widen the lead over its competitors," he said.
