Plasan Sasa in $200m US Marines follow-on contract

The company supplies MRAP armor kits to International Military and Government.

Plasan Sasa, owned by Kibbutz Sasa, has signed a $200 million follow-on contract with International Military and Government LLC (IMG) for 1,500 mine-resistant ambush protected (MRAP) armor kits for the US Marine Corps.

The present contract follows three contracts for 3,000 armor kits worth $500 million altogether. These contracts are the largest Marine Corps procurement project for up-armoring. Plasan Sasa designed the armor kits for the new Marine Corps' vehicle. The company delivers the kits to IMG, which assembles them.
