Labor sanctions are now in their third day.
The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) will close early again today, for the third consecutive day, due to labor sanctions.
The pre-closing stage will begin at a random time between 2:01 pm and 2:02 pm, and the closing trading stage will be between 2:15 pm and 2:30 pm. The usual closing trading stage is at 5:30 pm.
The TASE management said, "This decision is the result of the announcement of the workers public committee that it may order employees to abandon their posts during the trading session. This announcement is unilateral action that will render it impossible to conclude the trading day, and it will not be possible to clear the transactions or open the subsequent trading day, which would cause serious harm to investors and the capital market."
