eASIC raises $48m

Advanced Equities led the round, in which Evergreen participated.

US-Israeli start-up eASIC Corporation has raised $48 million in a late-stage financing round led by Advanced Equities Inc., which was joined by previous investors Khosla Ventures, Kleiner Perkins Caufield and Byers, Crescendo Ventures and Evergreen Venture Partners. eASIC CFO Craig Klosterman also participated in the round.

eASIC develops zero mask-charge ASIC chips. The company was founded in 1999 by Zvi Or-Bach who previously founded ASIC developer ChipX Inc. eASIC is headquartered in Santa Clara, California, and has offices in Tokyo, Oxford, and Hadera.
