Menashe Ezra has joined Gemini Israel Funds as a senior partner. He will serve alongside Ed Mlavsky, Yossi Sela, Orna Berry, Carmel Sofer, David Cohen, Daniel Cohen, Avi Hasson, and Adi Pundak-Mintz.
Ezra was previously a partner at BRM Capital. At Gemini, he will be responsible for investments in mobile and fixed-line communications, and semiconductors, both sectors in which the company has made previous investments.
Ezra was an entrepreneur before becoming a venture capitalist. He founded and ran wireless communications products developer WaveAccess, which was sold to Lucent in 1998.
Gemini manages $700 million. It recently made the first closing on its fifth fund.
