Oridian scores Goal.com France advertising deal

Oridian will monetize Goal.com’s network traffic to bring relevant local online ads to sports fans throughout the French-speaking world.

Global online-advertising agency Oridian Online Media Solutions and Goal.com, the world's largest website for international soccer news, today announced an exclusive partnership for French online ad traffic.

Oridian is one of the top 10 international advertising networks worldwide, with reach that exceeds 140 million unique users per month more than 80 million in the EU alone.

Goal.com represents the largest football community in the world, with 14 language versions, covering 210 countries. Goal.com provides users with the breaking news, live scores, match previews and latest club news through its interactive web site and community forums. Goal.com has 10 million monthly unique users worldwide and in France, Goal.com has 400,000 unique users with 4.5 million page views monthly.

Under the terms of the agreement, Oridian has exclusive rights to monetize all network traffic reaching Goal.com’s French-language website.

Goal.com VP Sales Paolo Bettinardi noted, “Goal.com's unique ability to allow people from different cultures, creeds, and lifestyles to enthusiastically communicate with each other through their shared passion distinguishes us from any other sporting media company."

According to ComScore data from January 2008, sports websites accounted for 4.2 million monthly unique users in France, up 20% from December 2007.

Oridian Online Media Solutions maintains international headquarters in Israel, sales offices in North America, Latin America, France, Germany and the UK, and representatives in Australia, Belgium, Italy, Greece, Scandinavia and The Netherlands. Oridian is a part of the Ybrant group.
