Online gambling software developer Playtech Cyprus Ltd. (AIM:PTEC) has signed a contract with Sweden's Betsson AB (SAX: BETS) to provide the company's online casino portfolio, consisting of over 110 games, and integrate its industry leading back-end system.
Playtech's solutions will enable Betsson to effectively manage and maximize the potential of its portfolio. The product will be tailored to meet the demands of Betsson and will cater for a range of local style games, initially in 11 languages, for European players. Playtech will also provide its download casino to Betsson brands CherryCasino.com and CasinoEuro.com.
Playtech CEO Mor Weizer said that the agreement extended Playtech's customer reach and appeal in the valuable European gaming market.
Playtech rose ₤0.03 to ₤4.33 yesterday, giving a market cap of ₤936 million.
