European life sciences co invests in Kamada

BioVille was one of the investors in a private placement which raised $4 million.

European life sciences company Bioville Corporation Ltd. will invest $1 million in Kamada Ltd. (TASE: KMDA), in a $4 million private placement first announced in March. Bioville will join Shavit Capital Fund, which is owned by GlenRock Israel; and Globis Capital Partners LP., a Wall Street private equity fund managed by Paul Packer and Leibler Investments Ltd, managed by Jonathan Leibler.

The private placement was held before the results of Kamada's Phase III trials of its AAT (Alpha-1 Antitrypsin) product, but Bioville will be able to invest under the same terms.
