Ness Technology in foreign country defense deal

The company will provide and install its Integrated Command and Control System.

IT services provider Ness Technologies Ltd. (Nasdaq: NSTC) has signed a $30 million contract with a foreign country to provide the company's Integrated Command and Control System (ICCS) and build a national command and control center. Ness will be the chief contractor for the project. The company did not disclose the name of the customer.

Ness's ICCS is a comprehensive command and control system that integrates and fuses situation pictures from the ground forces, air force, navy, services and emergency forces. The system provides the connectivity capabilities to automatically share operational information among the various units and agencies. The system provides real-time integrated situation and operational picture for decision making and operational planning, both in peacetime and in crisis.

Ness president and CEO Sachi Gerlitz said, "The new contract is another strategic milestone for Ness Technologies, further positioning us as a leading supplier of defense command and control systems worldwide."

Ness TSG president Michael Zinderman added, "ICCS utilizes unique technologies developed by Ness, which will be adapted to the special requirements of the defense forces of the purchasing country."
