Jerusalem approves new Gilo project

A previous version included a 24-storey high-rise.

The Jerusalem Local Planning and Building Commission has approved a 150-unit project in the southern neighborhood of Gilo, opposite the Uptown Mall on Yaffe Rom St. The plan approved comprises one 12-storey high-rise and three 14-storey buildings, half of whose floors will be terraced in line with the topography of the site. The plan will now go to the Jerusalem Regional Planning and Building Commission for discussion.

The original plan for the lot involved a 24-storey high-rise.
