Paz reportedly wants to increase the power station's capacity in order to boost sales to private consumers or to the national grid.
Sources inform ''Globes'' that Paz Oil Company Ltd. (TASE:PZOL) is in preliminary talks to expand its power station at subsidiary Paz Ashdod Refinery Ltd. The company has asked Israel Electric Corporation (IEC) and the Public Utilities Authority (Electricity) to allow it to expand the power station's production capacity to 90-100 megawatts from its current 43 megawatts.
