Dan Hotels renovates, renames Jerusalem's Ariel Hotel

The hotel's clientele will be young tourists and businesspeople.

Dan Hotels Corp. Ltd. (TASE: DANH) has invested NIS 15 million to renovate Jerusalem's Ariel Hotel, and will rename it the Dan Boutique Hotel. The 126-room hotel, located on Hebron Road, across from the Hinnom Valley from the Old City, was redesigned in the modern Middle Eastern style. Dan Hotels bought the hotel last year for NIS 50 million.

The hotel's target clientele will be young tourists aged 25-40 who have been increasingly visiting Jerusalem and who seek bed and breakfast hotels.

The hotel will also try to attract businesspeople, especially in high-tech, who come to Jerusalem to visit enterprises in the Malha industrial park, and visitors to the international animation center that will open at the site of the nearby Ottoman-era train station.
